As Saleel National Park

As Saleel National Park is one of Oman’s most unique protected natural areas, located in the Eastern Hajar region near Al Kamil Wal Wafi. Known for its dense acacia forests, open landscapes, and native wildlife, the park offers a different side of Oman compared to the country’s deserts and mountains. Covering around 220 square kilometers, the reserve is especially famous for Arabian gazelles, desert foxes, migratory birds, and peaceful wilderness scenery. It is considered one of Oman’s key wildlife conservation areas and a growing eco-tourism destination.
