Bioluminescent Shores

Along some of Oman’s quieter coastlines, the sea occasionally glows at night with natural bioluminescence, creating a surreal blue shimmer across the water and shoreline. Caused by microscopic marine organisms, this rare phenomenon transforms dark beaches into glowing landscapes and offers travellers a unique nighttime coastal experience rarely seen in the region.
