Accessing Wakan Village requires a 4WD vehicle due to steep, unpaved terrain. The final stretch is narrow and requires careful driving
If you do not have a 4WD vehicle, you can park your standard car at the base of the mountain near the start of the dirt road. From here, you can hike for 30–40 minutes or hire a local 4WD taxi to take you the rest of the way up to the village entrance
