Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve
Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve is one of Oman’s most famous eco-tourism destinations and a protected nesting site for endangered green turtles along the eastern coastline of the Sultanate. Located near Ras Al Hadd in the South Al Sharqiyah region, the reserve offers guided turtle-viewing experiences, eco-accommodation, educational exhibits, and nature-based travel experiences focused on conservation and marine wildlife. Established as a protected reserve in 1996, it is considered one of the most important green turtle nesting sites in the Indian Ocean.
