Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Muscat – Hotel Check-in
Upon arrival at Muscat International Airport, guests will make their own way from the airport to the hotel in Muscat. Private airport transfers can be arranged at an additional charge upon request.
Upon arrival at the hotel, guests will complete their check-in and have the remainder of the day at leisure to relax and settle in.
Half-Day Muscat City Tour
Pick-up: 08:30 AM. After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour exploring Muscat's most important cultural, historical and architectural landmarks — beginning with the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque.
Continue to Mutrah Souq for traditional Omani handicrafts, then a scenic drive along Mutrah Corniche. Stop for photos at Al Alam Palace, framed by the historic Al Jalali and Al Mirani Forts, before visiting the elegant Royal Opera House Muscat.
Return via Qurum and Qurum Beach.
The Grand Mosque visit is subject to opening hours and visitor dress regulations.
Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands – Dune Bashing & Sunset
Pick-up: 08:30 AM. Depart Muscat for Wadi Bani Khalid, with free time to relax beside its natural pools and swim, conditions permitting.
Continue to Wahiba Sands and check into desert chalets at Al Salam Desert Camp. At 04:30 PM, set out with experienced desert drivers for a thrilling 4X4 dune-bashing experience, followed by a golden desert sunset.
Dinner at the camp, followed by free time under the clear desert sky.
Wahiba Sands – Wadi Shab – Bimmah Sinkhole – Muscat
Breakfast and free time at the camp until approximately 10:00 AM, then check out and head for the coast.
Hike through Wadi Shab, with its dramatic cliffs and turquoise pools, and time to swim where conditions allow. Continue along the coastal road to Bimmah Sinkhole for a photo stop at this striking natural formation.
Arrive back in Muscat in the evening.
Wadi Shab involves uneven terrain. Comfortable walking shoes, swimwear, sun protection and water are recommended.
Nizwa – Jebel Akhdar – New Year's Eve
Pick-up: 08:30 AM. Travel to Nizwa, the former capital of Oman, to explore Nizwa Fort and its famous circular tower, followed by free time at Nizwa Souq.
Ascend to Jebel Akhdar in the Hajar Mountains for panoramic views from Diana View Point, then visit Al Ayn Village, known for its terraced fields and dramatic mountain setting, before returning to Muscat.
New Year's Eve celebrations are not included in the package. Several dinner and celebration options in Muscat can be arranged at different venues, subject to availability and additional charges.
Muscat – Free Day at Leisure
A completely free day to relax at the hotel or explore Muscat independently — ideal for shopping at modern malls or browsing traditional souqs for handicrafts, perfumes and spices. No sightseeing services are scheduled, giving guests full flexibility.
Dimaniyat Islands – Sharing-Basis Snorkeling Excursion
After breakfast, join a sharing-basis boat excursion to the Dimaniyat Islands Nature Reserve — prized for crystal-clear waters, coral reefs and diverse marine life.
Enjoy snorkeling and swimming, with the chance to spot sea turtles and colourful marine species depending on season and conditions, before returning to Muscat.
This excursion operates on a shared boat. Departure time, route and snorkeling locations may vary with sea and weather conditions.
Departure from Muscat
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out. Guests will make their own way to Muscat International Airport for their onward flight; private transfers can be arranged at an additional charge upon request.

Important Notes
Airport Transfers
Arrival and departure airport transfers are not included. Guests may travel to and from the airport independently, or private airport transfers can be arranged at an additional charge.
New Year's Eve
New Year's Eve celebrations on 31 December are not included. Different celebration and dinner options in Muscat can be offered separately, subject to availability and additional charges.
Dimaniyat Islands
The snorkeling excursion is arranged on a sharing-basis boat. The boat will be shared with other guests, and the exact route, departure time and snorkeling locations may vary depending on weather, sea conditions and operational requirements.
Wadi Shab
Wadi Shab includes hiking and walking over uneven terrain. Guests should be reasonably comfortable with walking and should carry suitable footwear, swimwear, sun protection and drinking water.
Weather & Operational Conditions
Outdoor activities, particularly the Wadi Shab, desert and Dimaniyat Islands excursions, are subject to weather and local operational conditions. In the event of unfavorable conditions, the itinerary or activity may need to be modified for safety reasons.
Dress Code
Oman is a culturally respectful destination. Guests are requested to dress appropriately when visiting religious and traditional sites. A specific dress code applies when visiting the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque.
Hotel Check-in / Check-out
Standard hotel check-in and check-out times apply. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may incur additional charges.
Vehicle & Group Movement
Transportation will be arranged according to the final group size and vehicle requirements. The exact vehicle type and seating configuration will be confirmed separately based on the final number of participants.
